Get Out of Your Head

Adult Reader “Get Out of Your Head” by Jennie Allen

Youth Readers “You Are Not Alone”

The book focuses on the idea that our thought life significantly impacts our overall well-being and spiritual health. Jennie Allen emphasizes that our thoughts can either draw us closer to God or pull us away from Him, and she provides practical guidance on how to manage and transform our thought patterns in a way that aligns with Christian teachings.

Free from anxiety, fear, hate, depression…Reading this book “Get Out of Your Head” by Jennie Allen…each chapter gets better and better. The beginning starts with personal experience and the book really picked up (for me) starting at Chapter 5 and then just got better and better. By chapter 12, I was like, “Yes! Amen!”. The message that was my favorite insightful message was interesting to me because it goes beyond the “WWJD?” reflection by presenting a call to action in Ch 14 with her message “I Choose To Serve”. “Choose To Serve” to see the needs of others as Jesus does and serve to help meet those needs with love and kindness. She has a version of young readers also called “You Are Not Alone”…really great work!!! Ch 15 has some goal… has some goals for training our thinking…Ch16 I want to encourage people to write down your prayer and Journal the Journey!

Allen invites readers to take an active role in their personal mental and spiritual transformation. She believes that by aligning thoughts with God’s truth, individuals can experience greater peace, joy, and fulfillment.

For Personal Transformation the author addresses some major points for:

+ Power of Thought

+ Biblical Principals

+ Practical Strategies

+ Community & Support

+ So much more!

She has many other books that I am looking forward to reading as well.
